Yellow River Game Farm with Oma

Yellow River Game Farm must be one of Gwinnett County's best kept secrets. This was a great experience for Micah and I admit I had a lot of fun, too! We pet and fed goats, sheep, burrows, rabbits, chicks and deer. We also saw bears, foxes, a mountain lion, squirrels, chickens, ducks, peacocks and rabbits. Micah's stroller tray worked great to feed the deer and sheep. All the free-roaming animals were so gentle. Micah could feed them! He wasn't so great about sharing the apples, but the corn and carrots he gave to the animals well. Oma treated us to lunch at IHOP and then Micah fell asleep in the van before we got home. Once again, a fabulous day with Oma!

Easter Egg Hunt

Sometimes I am wrong. I thought Micah would love attending an Easter egg hunt at First Baptist Duluth. All he wanted to do was play on the playground, which wasn't open. We both left disappointed. Mama said there'd be days like these...

Baby Einstein

Micah woke up on Monday morning all congested and with a fever of 101F. He's been having a hard time going to sleep the past few days, too. I took him into our room to read with him in our bed for a while and then put him in his crib with the same books. When I checked on him, this is what I found. Has the beloved Piglet been replaced by the I Love My Numbers book? Only time will tell...

A Fort and Playgrounds

Micah continues to be a very active little guy and I've discovered how much fun we can have together at the playground. He takes better naps and is overall in better form if we play together in the morning. So , we've been going to playgrounds together a few mornings a week.
Here we are playing with Oma at the Perimeter Church/School playground after music class,

at the Mall of Georgia with Miss Charlotte, Katherine and Evan,

at home in a fort,

and at Discover Mills.

Music Class

Micah has been attending Music Together classes for two sessions now (since August 2006), thanks to Oma and Opa's generosity. We play and sing with Miss Gail and other kids and their mommies. Oma came along last week and took some photos.
