An Apple and an Ear of Corn

Micah is asserting his independence in all kinds of ways. One of them is in the realm of food. He loves to eat things by himself - - apples and corn on the cob included.

Micah has discovered that he really likes to eat . . . so much so that he begs from anyone eating. Pop came home late and tried eating dinner in the family room only to have to share with Micah. Micah had just finished eating a huge dinner, mind you.

Mooney Family Vacation

The Mooneys all went to the mountains for vacation. I think most of the pictures are self explanatory, but I have to make a comment on the first one:
Micah had a ball playing with McKenna (4) and Jeremiah (2), his cousins. They brought a toy bin along and I couldn't resist taking this picture. He had reached for a toy and fallen in once before. I was a meanie mom and set up the scenerio again just for the picture. It was worth the laugh and capturing the moment digitally and Micah didn't seem to mind.

Some Firsts

Within the first 10 days of being in the States, we visited with Melissa and Charleston Cooper and Micah played in a pool for the first time, visited Opa at work and was fascinated by the computers and went with Oma to the Bass Pro Shop where he bravely looked at the fish.
