Painting

Micah painted with watercolors for the first time and had so much fun. He created a masterpiece - mostly green lines. I think washing out the brush and checking out the color of the water was almost as interesting as putting paint on the paper. What a fun Mommy & Micah activity!

Nana and Oma

Nana and Oma came to the ultrasound appointment. Micah had so much fun playing with both of them at this magnetic car table. They even both sat in the little chairs!

Duluth Fountain

It was our second visit to the Duluth fountain this summer. During our first visit, Micah just observed. He did not want to get wet. This time, after an hour of playing in puddles, watching other kids, Oma and Mommy get wet and thinking it over quite studiously, Micah bravely decided to play in the water. Horray, Micah!

Micah's Daddy

Micah's Daddy has had a few weeks off between summer school and the start of the new school year. We've sure both enjoyed hanging out with him all the time. What a blessing to have such a loving, fun, Godly daddy (and husband)!

Visiting the Schneiders in AL

This week we spent time in Mobile, AL with my dad's side of the family...Great Aunt Regina and Great Uncle Dan

Micah discovered that without his hat, Uncle Dan kinda looks like Opa.

Great Grandpa

Great Granny

Micah was fascinated by Granny's cane.

Aunt Andrea got a little creative when Micah needed some distraction. Looks, socks on hands and Andrea's shoes!
We spent an evening with Micah's Great Aunt Diana in Pensacola on our way back to Atlanta. She took us to a cool restaurant right on the beach, complete with a playground in the sand. Right as we sat down, it started blowing and pouring. Needless to say, Micah didn't get to play on the playground, but the food and time with Diana were both great. I was so distracted by the rain that I forgot to take pictures...again!
